Aqua Shard
Working closely with Jestico & Whiles, who delivered a unique design, distinctive to this specific area of London, this project on the 31st Level of The Shard completed in 2013. It included an 89-cover tea wing, and 66 seat gin wing and urinals with a view.
It was a competitive tender and the work was a logistical challenge, in particular with regards to delivery of materials, and also integration of services with the rest of the building. We responded to the challenge by setting up a more comprehensive on-site management team to focus on these issues, and the restaurant opened on time.
Following the projects in The Shard, we were delighted to be given the opportunity in 2015 to carry out the extensive refurbishment of Aqua Nueva in Argyll St, Oxford Circus. The result is stunning.
