Every member of the team will have a unique training and development plan that is identified and reviewed through the appraisal process, and which is designed to address specific areas where improvement will the individual to enhance their performance and thereby open up opportunities for career progress.
Most training and development will be through experience and mentoring, but this will be complemented as necessary with formal training delivered by internal or external trainers. The training may be job-specific, or designed to address general management skills.
